Oude Quetsche Tilquin à l’ancienne.

The first beer made by Gueuzerie Tilquin, the first small batch was released in 2012. As Pierre Tilquin didn’t want to do the traditional Kriek or Framboos he decided to use a fruit local to his region, the Quetsche de Namur, a variety of small blue plums.

Bad harvests forced him to look for an alternative plum for future batches which he found in the ‘Quetsche veritable d’Alsace’, a plum coming from the French Alsace region.
